ICE CLIMBING IN KOROUOMA NATURE RESERVE

Ice climbing in Korouoma Nature reserve and on natural frozen waterfalls is an experience without any comparison in Finland. We will hike and climb in the Korouoma valley in the pure silence of the winter wonderland. Though, it is a very famous sight and we can not guarantee total silence. The ice climbing program is suitable for persons that have a good physical condition and are looking for a great new winter experience, someone who want to test their limits in arctic conditions or just want to have a try at Finland’s legendary ice climbing sights, all in a safe manner. You will hear stories about local nature and learn a lot about ice climbing. All climbing equipment and safety gear are given at the meeting point

A professional climbing instructor will guide you to, on and at the Korouoma ice sights and surrounding. You will have full introduction and guidance on every stage. Before you know, you have spent a whole day ice climbing! A nice camp fire with delicious lunch is included, as well as warm juice and snacks during the day.

The ice climbing adventure day at Korouoma nature reserve include transfer Ruka – Korouoma – Ruka, guide-services of a professional ice climbing instructor, ice climbing and safety equipment, snacks, camp fire wraps and hot drinks, general liability insurance and VAT.

Ice climbing in Korouoma Nature reserve is suitable for persons 16 yrs or older and strong enough to ice climb and adventure outdoors the whole day.
